ZAM

Call | ZAM is looking for a private sector fundraiser for the 2018 Nelson Mandela Lecture

ZAM, the platform for African change, is celebrating Nelson Mandela's centenary with an elaborate program of activities: Mandela100. This program will inform a yearlong critical search for today's relevance of Mandela's work and ideas.

The highlight of Mandela100 will be the Nelson Mandela Lecture scheduled for December 2018. To make this Lecture happen, ZAM is currently looking for a fundraiser in the private sector on a 'no cure, no pay' basis.

In Mandela’s life of resistance, strategic insight, persuasion power, stamina, openness to reconciliation and leadership, lies an abundance of lessons and experiences important to the here and now. In this sense, remembrance equals preparation for those who wish to build a world of equality beyond ‘them' and 'us.' These aspects will certainly be covered in the Lecture, to be held by an internationally renowned speaker.

ZAM wants to turn the Nelson Mandela Lecture into a reality with the support of private donors and sponsors. Good leadership and civic participation is indeed synonymous with Nelson Mandela.

For the identification of potential sponsors ZAM seeks the help of an experienced fundraiser.

Are you this private sector fundraiser who wants to make the Nelson Mandela Lecture happen together with ZAM?
