Change has come to Zimbabwe. A coup-not-be-called-a-coup made an end to 37 years of Mugabe rule. The tyrant was sent home with a 10 million Dollar package deal. His friends, some will say his masters, took over and euphoria coloured the day. A new beginning? This was precisely the title of an article ZAM published in 2008. It recorded voices of hope in the Zimbabwean diaspora. There are no easy victories and the real character of change in Zimbabwe still has to show. In the meantime: let's celebrate.
