ZAM Boekenclub over de nieuwe roman van Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Dream Count. In samenwerking met de Nigerian Youths in the Netherlands (NYN) en hun boekenclub.
Tien jaar hebben we gewacht op een opvolger van de succesroman Americanah van de Nigeriaanse auteur Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Maar nu is die er eindelijk, gelijktijdig verschenen in het oorspronkelijke Engels en in een Nederlandse vertaling. De titel is in beide versies: Dream Count.

We gaan het er op zaterdagmiddag 19 april over hebben, dus jullie hebben nog een paar weken de tijd om het boek te lezen (399 pagina's in het Engels, 496 in het Nederlands).
Begin meteen en stort je in de levens van vier vrouwen, in de Verenigde Staten en Nigeria.
Dayo Macaulay en andere leden van de Nigerian Youth in the Netherlands zullen een inleiding verzorgen. Zij hebben een Book Club en bespraken daar onlangs nog Americanah.

ZAM Book Club of Readers and Writers about the new novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Dream Count. In collaboration with Nigerian Youths in the Netherlands (NYN) and their book club.
We have been waiting for ten years for a follow up novel to the highly successful Americanah by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. But finally: here it is! Both in English and in Dutch translation. The title of both editions: Dream Count.
We will discuss the book on Saturday afternoon april 19th, so you still have some weeks for reading (399 pages in English, 496 in Dutch).

Dayo Macaulay and other members of NYN will present an introduction to Adichie's latest novel and tell us about their platform. Their Book Club recently discussed Americanah.
